NTA announces changes in JEE Main exam pattern for 2025. Section B now has 10 questions instead of 5.
The National Testing Agency has announced significant changes to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. The new pattern will be applicable from Session 1 onwards.
Key Changes:
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): Section B increased from 5 to 10 questions
- Negative marking: -1 for each wrong answer
- Total Questions: 90 (75 to be attempted)
- Duration: 3 hours
- Mode: Computer-based test
Candidates are advised to prepare according to the new pattern.
